EASS (Estonian Academy of Security Sciences)

EASS brings together all of the country’s internal security and security-related education, research, and development activities. Language centre is a language learning development partner in the field of public safety. We conduct international cooperation and carry out research and development activities in various areas (e.g. language for specific purposes, crisis communication, terminology).
The Border and Coast Guard Academy
is an internationally networked educational institution providing basic, further and continuing education for Finnish Border Guard staff and continuing education for cooperation authorities. The language training sector provides LSP instruction in English, Russian and Swedish.
EAVA (Estonian Aviation Academy)
is a state-owned professional higher education institution that educates specialists for Estonian and international aviation enterprises and organisations. Our learner-centred ESP (English for Specific Purposes) language teaching prioritises collaboration with subject-matter experts and is enriched by international teaching experience as well as by seminars conducted in authentic environments, such as hangars and simulators. We also carry out research in aviation English, contribute to the development of Estonian aviation terminology and serve as examiners for ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) language proficiency testing.
